Mid Evil Metals Custom Metalwork : Small startup business in Ravena, NY
This site was created for a welder in Ravena, NY. I was hired to create an online presence for a friend who was looking to turn his love of welding into a small business where he could make a living doing what he loves.
I created the opening for the site based on an idea that the client had, utilizing multiple images created in Photoshop, and created an animation from them in Flash. I helped him set up his hosting and domain name with a hosting company, then set up his email account for the site using a system that was new to me as well. Once the intial setup was complete, I talked with him about what pages he wanted to feature, and gathered up any images that I would need for my work.
I then designed the logo and a few other images, created the layout and navigation scheme, and started on the creation of the site itself. Due to the small size of the site currently, completion took about two weeks from start to finish.
